In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 food delivery apps on the Android platform in Mexico showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a progressive decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 143K at the end of March and dropping to around 127K by the end of June. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at roughly 1.7M in early May before settling at around 1.56M by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery saw a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at about 119K in late March and decreasing to nearly 99K by the end of June. The weekly active users also fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 1.45M initially but ending the quarter at around 1.37M.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a significant decrease in weekly downloads, from around 83K in late March to about 54K by the end of June. Its weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 1.14M and ending the quarter at about 1.06M.

TaDa Delivery de Bebidas MX showed fluctuating weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 31K in late May, before stabilizing at approximately 22K by the end of June. The weekly active users also rose, peaking at about 44K in late May and stabilizing at around 38K by the end of the quarter.

GLUP saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 5K in late March and peaking at around 26K in mid-June, before dropping to about 14K by the end of June. Its weekly active users increased steadily, peaking at around 31K in mid-June before settling at roughly 25K by the end of the quarter.
